Gage is the official dispatcher and manager of Spotless Heights. He keeps David in check and makes sure every job runs smoothly. When not stationed at his desk, Gage can be found saddled in his mountain bike at the top of Galbraith, or flying planes out of Bellingham Int’l Airport.
David is Spotless Height’s chief operator. He’s the one who shows up to rake the muck out of your gutters and scrape the moss off your roof. When he’s not climbing ladders, he enjoys spending his time shredding Mt. Baker, and taking long walks along Little Squalicum beach with his dog Kenai.
We’re David and Gage, the owners and operators of Spotless Heights Exterior Cleaning. We’re Washington natives who have called Bellingham our home for the last decade. During our time here we have worked in many different fields, but our experience as exterior cleaners arose out of necessity. Having lived in Sudden Valley for many years we are intimately familiar with algae, lichens, molds, and moss. We know the dangers they pose to your home, and we have the experience to properly fight the grime.
There is no shortage of professional washing services in Whatcom County, however many of these companies use harmful, toxic chemicals to aid in their cleaning process. That’s where we decided to step in and offer another solution. We founded Spotless Heights with the aim of providing excellent roof and exterior cleaning services without the use of harsh chemicals.

Roof Soft-Washing
We start by manually scraping the dead and dying moss from your roof. Once all the debris has been cleared, we apply our eco-friendly solution coating the entire roof. In the coming weeks you will see any remaining moss turn yellow white before falling off and your shingles will significantly brighten. The final result will look like a brand-new roof.

Gutter Cleaning
Unlike other companies who use high-powered blowers, or pressure washers, we choose to manually remove the debris from your gutters. This allows us to offer a complete clean-out while ensuring that little to no debris is spread to your roof, or the rest of your property. We also offer complimentary down-spout inspections so that you can rest assured that your gutters are doing their job.

Pressure Washing
If your driveway has become slick with moss and grime let us handle the work. Using a similar formula for our roofs we offer a per-treatment to our pressure washing that will leave your concrete looking like the day it was poured. With our adjustable PSI pressure washers, we have the equipment to tackle any job whether it requires a soft touch, or a firm hand.

Window Cleaning
If you’re finding it difficult to see outside, let us handle the work of cleaning your windows. Especially the ones in hard-to-reach places. Our organic cleaner will leave you with a streak-free shine that help lighten the inside of your home. We can also take care of those pesky screens!

As these organism begin to grow, they push up on the shingles of your roof. This can lead to water collecting in the underlayment and left unchecked leads to wood rot and leaks.

Most companies use chlorine bleach as the primary component for their soft-washing process. While chlorine bleach is very effective at cleaning roofs, it also poses a number of risks. Including damaging roof shingles, staining siding, and killing surrounding vegetation. At Spotless Heights, we take a different approach and use an oxygen-based cleaner as our solution. The results are just as effective as chlorine bleach but are safe to use around people, plants, and pets. Our chemical mixture uses less water and biodegrades into harmless soda ash.

There are a lot of factors that determine how much we charge for a roof cleaning including the size, pitch, height, and overall organic growth level. However, most homes we work on average between $400-$600. We feel our prices are very competitive and a mere fraction compared to what it costs to replace a roof.
